Ideal set of k98 pouches for a mannequin. Externally a very nice matched set of k98 pouches from the same maker with the same riveted construction. The pouches look like they were probably unissued, but someone has removed the internal rawhide dividers from the pouches and stuffed them with newspaper. There are very minor differences between the two, the rivets on one pouch were touched up with black paint which was a factory thing. One pouch has a steel D ring and one has an aluminum. These were all acceptable variations, a D ring was a D ring and the factory used whichever they had. One pouch has one cell that looks a little saggy, which is more than likely due to either a lower quality of leather or years of being crushed, but I mostly see this with lower quality leather. Still, this really is a good set for display or for a mannequin. These would be in great condition if the internal dividers hadn't been removed.
