Original 1930's new old stock Bakelite picnic set.
The set includes:
- Salt and pepper shakers set (glass w/ Bakelite lid)
- Set of Bakelite salad tongs (large spoon and fork)
- Bakelite serving tray
All items are original new old stock from the 1930's. They are in good condition but will need cleaning if you plan to use them. The salt/pepper shakers are about 3 1/2" tall, the salad tongs measure about 8 3/4" long and the tray is about 9 3/4" x 5 1/2". The salt and pepper shakers will come with an extra Bakelite lid. The color of the Bakelite varies from lighter brown to dark brown / black. A few of the trays have small chips on the end. Some of the salad tongs also have wear along the edges. The trays have wax crayon writing on them, possibly the original price.
