Original German soldiers leather ID disc pouch with a single rank pip installed on the flap. No ID disc, just the pouch. The disc would not have been kept inside the pouch as it needed to be easily accessible to break off the bottom half if you fell in battle. The leather pouch was used to put a slight barrier between the cold metal disc and your body and also to hold money, keep sakes and similar such personal things. It is a little worn and has some creases to it.
