Vintage dark red knit sweater and skirt set. I am guessing this is 1940s.

MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
Sweater:
Bust - 42"
Waist - 35"
Length - 21 1/2"
Skirt:
Waist - 24"-30"
Hips - 42"
Length- 30 1/2"

The set has two ties at the neck- I am not exactly sure how to style them. Big wooden button at the neck. There are some pulls in the material. Light wear under the arms. The elastic on the skirt has been newly replaced (it was crunchy and no longer stretchy when I bought it, so I had it replaced so it could be worn again).
