Original WWII German kartenwinkelmesser pouch for artillery plotting tools. This would have contained several clear plastic protractors and similar devices to assist the crew in laying fields of fire using a map. This one still has the small square ruler. This is a very nice example of the pouch in good to very good condition. The snaps are very clean and function smoothly (the snaps are very often rusted or torn out). There are some small stains. The pouch is lined with soft felt material. The small protractor ruler thing is dated 1934.
