New old stock metal typewriter ribbon spool with red/black ribbon. Price is for one. These are dead stock still wrapped in cellophane although the cellophane has holes in it from handling and shrinkage over the decades.
These are likely early post war but they are the correct metal spool and without the paper label and cellophane, there is no difference to war time ribbons. That makes these an Ideal replacement to complete a wartime typewriter. I would assume the ribbon is a little dry but I have not tested any. I generally have good luck with period ribbon, so I would bet these would still work pretty well.
