Army and Navy "E" Production award pin. Price is for one and all are in good condition. They are from various makers (including Coro) - sorry, no choice on maker! They measure about 7/8" long. The back is marked "Army Navy Production Award Design Pat 134959".
To acknowledge the efforts of the men and women that worked in the manufacturing plants during the war, the government created a production award system. The Army Navy "E" award pins were given out between 1942-1945. There were 4,283 plants, approximately half a million workers, that received the Army-Navy E Award representing about 5% of the total number of plants that performed war work.
