Description
Original German army canvas water bag with carry handles and a pour spout. Some of the threads on the one carry handle look like they are cut, but not all the way through. It is fine as-is for display, but that should probably be repaired if you wanted to use it. I could not find a date on this one. The zeltbahn type button used to hold the lid closed is a little corroded. It looks like it was lightly used at most, might even be un-issued. It is a little dirty but not as dirty as one might expect for something so utilitarian. It looks like it would probably still hold water, at least as well as can be expected from a cloth bucket.
