Description
Nice original mountain back pack. It has both the lower straps that are frequently missing. No belt, No ditty bags. It is used, but in pretty good condition. The inside pocket has holes, probably from various pointy Gebirgs tools poking around inside. Both side thermos pockets have some loose threads around the seams of the flap. It has an R.B.Nr. on the back. The thin black tabs used on the lid, along with some other construction details, date this to around 1943. This was actually one of my own rucksacks I used early on; I hope to find it a good home.
