Original photo showing what seems to be German soldiers practicing mine clearing. The man in the background is clearly using the mine detector. You rarely see the detectors in use. I believe this shows the Aachen Type 40 mine detector. There is a small tear in the photo. The back has remnants of where it was removed from an album.
