Description
Nice early bulk rations sack in rather good condition. Its not brand new but it has very few stains and no holes. The eagle and H.Vpfl. 1939 are printed on the inside and outside of the sack to prevent anyone stealing it and turning it inside out to reuse. These were essentially a catch all for rations of various types. I have seen them filled with cans, coffee, oats...
These have been gaining popularity as of late and I now see many of the bigger, expensive dealers selling them for $100 or more. The days of the inexpensive ration sacks are coming to a close.
