We used our 3 letter code \"kem\" on the bottom of the label to identify them as reproduction in a subtle way. The 3 letter code on the bottom of the tag did not indicate the manufacturer and we have found many, many letter variations so using our letter code is not such a bad thing. We also noticed much variation in the weave of originals so the very subtle variations in our reproduction compared to the original are well within acceptable tolerances.  When we prepared the artwork, we spent over 20 hours mapping out each individual thread to make the reproduction as accurate as possible. The type of weave leaves some very long exposed threads which, over time, will snag, fray, and pull to wear out very similar to the original.
