Printed in 1939 by order of the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht and Property of the State "Reichseigentum". This book is a review of the lessons learned about prisoners of war taken during the first world war and the book begins with a very stern message "The enemy remains your enemy!". It covers various types of espionage, methods of escape, and how prisoners think and act. It has a few photos showing various ways in which prisoners try to conceal messages and news. It shows how items of sabotage can be hidden inside baked goods or fruits. A very interesting read and a very neat piece of history. This is the type of book that would make for an interesting display and discussion piece.
