    Vintage 1940s orange rayon dress.

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 36" 
    Waist - 26" 
    Hips - 36" 
    Length - 43 1/2" 

    The dress is a nice burnt orange color - some photos make it look redder than it actually is. It buttons up the side (buttons were often used in place of zippers due to metal shortages). Tiny pockets at the waist.

     

    There is some light general discoloration throughout the dress. I tried to photograph the worst areas. The discoloration isn't too bad and it can be worn as-is. One end of the belt is frayed. One long pull in the material on the skirt. A few loose seams. The off-white collar has some discoloration as well and needs to be restitched as it is coming loose.
