    Vintage 1940s WWII US Navy WAVES seersucker officer's jacket.

     

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 36"
    Waist - 28 1/2"
    Length - 24"

     

    Rank of lieutenant. Nice WAVES and tailor's labels. The WAVES label in the neck has been sewn on upside down. American Campaign ribbon bar. Dark blue shank buttons. The jacket has some stains and some overall storage wear / dirt to it (it has NOT been laundered). The most noticeable is a spot on the top of the sleeve and by the armpit. The shoulders have discoloration and staining as do the sleeves. I do think the stains could be cleaned or at the very least lightened and made less noticeable - however, I don't know if the blue rank on the sleeves will color bleed or not.
