Description
Vintage 1940s / 1950s German seamed stockings. Size 9 1/2 (meaning the foot measures 9 1/2"). The height is about 31". Good condition with light wear. These are a heavier material, not sheer. Pure cotton with Perlon reinforcement. Perlon was Germany's version of nylon, it came out in the late 1930s, but was used primarily for the military until after the war. Perlon stockings were produced during the war, but in very limited quantities. These are most likely postwar, although they have no postwar markings.
