There are brackets inside for 2 shelves which would have also been pressed paper\/Masonite material. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe box is a little beat up with some dents, but it is honestly better than most others I see. I don't believe this ever actually left the factory, I found two from the same place, and neither had any stenciling and both were lefts.
