Description
German wooden frame for holding maps. This one still has the metal backing piece, but it is missing the clear plastic sheets that would have gone over the map to allow you to draw on it in grease pencil. I have had a few of these over the years that were military marked, but I believe these were possibly also used in schools and restaurants for displaying menus.
