Description
Period appropriate German Würzburger Hofbräu 1/2L krug in fairly nice condition. There is a "chip" on the rim, but it looks like a flaw that originally was there as it look like the chip has been glazed. Marked Made in Germany on the bottom. The bottom has some extra blue coloring specks. There is a metal piece on the bottom of the inside.
This is a krug, not a stein. Stein is what English speakers and tourists say. In German a stein is a stone, and is not used to describe a beverage container.
