Martin Pauson died in October 1934 and his wife's brother Hugo Aufseesser took over the company. On July 23 1938, they were forced to sell the business. It was advertised in the newspaper that as of July 25 1938, the firm of Martin Pauson was now German and operated by Fritz Haertle..
