This was a sort of test print that I did early on just to see if it would work. In short, it did work but not as well as I would have liked. The bottom edge suffered quite a bit of issues producing a very thin wall with a melty looking mess on this overhanging area. I do believe that if you filed and sanded this bottle and then lined it with food grade epoxy, it would be usable. It will also need the closure hardware which you could replicate from coat hanger wire. This took something like 4 days to print. It would take too much time for me to finish into something, so I am letting it go as-is. If you can finish it and make a usable trinkwasser, let me know, because I can print more and probably improve the file as well. I just know I do not have the kind of time that will be needed to finish these off. It is made from silver PLA. Its quite strong but I think to be completely functional it will need an epoxy liner. If you were to fill it and drop it on cement or something, it would probably crack. It is an easy material to repair as you can just weld it back together with a soldering iron. I printed this a while ago so I do not really remember the settings I used such as wall thickness or infill.
