Vintage antique black bodice from the French costume designer Aristide Boyer Marseille. It is probably from the 1910s or 1920s at the latest. This was designed as a costume piece for theater or opera. There is a lot of pen writing on the inside bodice. Maybe it's the names of the actresses who wore it or the cast of the show? It is very small size, about a 28" bust.
AS-IS condition. Not bad for being 100+ years old, but it does have some issues. The side has been taken in. The bottom button is missing. Some black extra fabric from where something was removed on both shoulders. Some small "holes" where the fabric is wearing thin. A white speck under one arm. The white cuffs have some staining. No shredding or tears. See photos for condition.
