Original Soviet underwear bottoms captured by a German soldier. Size 3. Dated 1940. Underwear were a popular prize in the early days of Barbarossa, a number of accounts talk about coming across soviet military stockpiles and everyone raided them for underwear and alcohol. This is a nice example in unissued condition. They were probably captured and sent home or brought home before they got used. They do have some age related staining and spots and the buttons are dried out and cracked. I found this pair several years ago in Germany, but have decided to liquidate some of my Soviet samples from my collection. A very rare find.
