DRGM German Decorative Bread Box

Very nice original bread box, roughly the size of a typical round loaf of German Bauernbrot. Hand painted on top with a village with some trees and bushes and the traditional "Unser täglich brot gieb uns heute" phrase across the top. The tin is embossed DRGM on the bottom. It has some minor wear, but in overall very nice condition. The lid is a little difficult to line up with the latch when you close it. I have managed to close it several times, but it takes a little fenagling.

Whenever I am in Germany, I use one just like this to store bread in and it does seem to make the bread last an extra day or two. Vintage 1930s/1940s tins like this are hard to come by and with its size, I am not sure if or when I will import another.
