Prewar Grimm & Triepel chewing tobacco tin. The company was based in Nordhausen. Deutschlands größte Kautabakfabrik (Germany's largest chewing tobacco factory). The lid shows an award from 1926. This is a huge tin for chewing tobacco and what makes it a little more strange is it contained what the tin describes as 25 pieces of finest lady twist. According to the inside of the tin, the products are made from the finest Kentucky and Virginia leaf tobacco.
