Original advertisement poster board for Vasenol Fuss Puder from the mid 1930's. It is a little dirty, faded, and has some light water staining. The artwork is by Herbert Bayer. I have seen other examples dated to 1935. A very nice piece of advertising history from a brand that, in my mind at least, is quite well known within the context of the period. It is mounted on a thick cardstock/cardboard backing with a fold out stand and a small cord loop to allow it to stand freely or be hung on a wall. Designed for use in shop window or countertop displays or to be hung on a shop wall. Not very many advertisements like this survived. Larger posters with this graphic have sold at European auction houses for 500€.
