100% original Afrika Korps cuff title in good condition. It seems to be full length. There are some subtle small stains along the outer edge, shown in the photo. If you can't seem them, its because they are that subtle. Just a nice example.
There are a number of fakes out there, but this has everything you want to see in a real one. It comes down to the shape of the letters, particularly the F and the R&P and I believe the easiest way to tell an original is the nice consistency of the weave as viewed from the back. Originals are very nice, tight, and even, like this one. Fakes/repros usually look sort of blotchy or inconsistent in weave around the letters from the backside. The material itself is not a good indicator, as I have handled fakes that absolutely nailed the material, but mess up the weave or pattern. Newer repros do a better job on the letters and weave but can't get the material or colors perfect. Some of the old fakes are practically made from real material but mess up the weave. Some of the old fakes get the material so correct it makes me almost question if there might have been variations but I know the collecting community would not accept it anyway, so those really good ones will pretty much always be fake.
