A very nice example of the actual Wehrmacht camera tripod in its original pressstoff case. This is the sort of item you would expect to see serving in a Propaganda Kompanie. The tripod is in good condition with only minor wear and it was produced by Bilora, which is not the typical maker as most were made by MEI. The legs extend and collapse without issue.
The case is in good used condition with fairly light wear. The wear is consistent with other pressstoff ersatz leather goods. The case is dated 1938, it had a waffen amt which looks like it might have been intentionally scratched out, but it is also in a high wear area so maybe its natural. The maker mark is nearer to the opening of the tube but it is hard to make out. A very rare item. The case is probably 3 or 4 times harder to find than the tripod itself. I have bought every one I have ever seen in person and this is only the 3rd one I have come across in over a decade of actively searching.
