German 2 meter wooden measuring stick / folding ruler. Deutsche Linoleum Werke. It is a bit worn and used. The yellow paint is flaking off in a lot of places.
Deustche Linoleum Werke (DLW) was founded in 1926 and is the last active linoleum factory in Germany and one of the last three worldwide. In 1938, the headquarters was moved to Bietigheim. During the war, the company employed forced labors and carried out materials testing on prisoners.
