Newly made dual purpose BB magazine for the Hanel model 33 trainer BB gun. This is our first production version. It is the result of much tinkering and testing and is an improvement over our early prototypes.
Replace the broken and missing magazines for your Hanel Sportmodel 33 BB guns. Original magazines are quite rare, fragile, and model specific but this magazine will fit both the large/normal model (sometimes called the Senior), and also fit the smaller model (called the Junior). So if you are not entirely sure which one you need, it doesn't matter for this magazine.
Improvements:
1: Improved impact resistant material.
2: Easy slide flower for better feeding.
3: Meatier BB retention hook with adjusted geometry for better function both holding and releasing BBs.
4: Thicker side walls for added durability and better pin retention for the BB hook cross pin.
5: Refined spring system for the BB retention hook spring, using a BB as the linkage between the spring and hook for better function.
These are all around better than the prototypes we made previously. The finish is still a little rough, and straight from the printer but you probably don't want to pay me to sit and slowly sand a smooth each magazine to perfection. These are functional magazines for people that want to enjoy using their Sportmodel.
It is recommended to store the magazines empty. Although these do hold BBs much better the pressure of being loaded will exert force on the magazine over time.
