Blue Rayon Dress with Detachable Collar Piece

Vintage 1940s dark blue rayon dress with detachable collar. Nice red, white and blue colors.

Dress has rhinestone buttons around the neck. It has a button in white collar that is completely detachable for easy cleaning. NOTE: The white collar is a bright white - it is not yellowed and dull like some of the photos make it look! Dress can be worn with or without the collar - a nice versatile dress! I haven't seen a lot of dresses made this way but it is a great idea to make your dress look different when you wear it again. Red trim around the neck and pocket. Side metal zipper (it looks like it may have been replaced). Sewn in shoulder pads. Donella Creation label.

Decent, wearable condition. There is some fading along the shoulders and down the sleeves. Two small holes in one sleeve. Some white smudges on the skirt. Some of the rhinestone buttons may need resewn (they are still attached, but are a little loose - it would be best to sew them in a little better before you wear this). There is some very light staining on the white collar (not really noticeable unless you look very closely).
