    Vintage 1940s gray/purple rayon dress with lace and beading.

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 37"
    Waist - 27" 
    Hips - 39"
    Length - 44"

     

    Lovely intricate beading around the lace at the top. The dress has its matching belt. It has a metal back zipper. There is fading throughout. The material underneath the lace has some staining. Light discoloration under the arms (the photos make it look more noticeable than it actually is); the lining has more noticeable staining than the outside. White stain on the bottom of the skirt. There are shoulder pads sewn in that have significant fading. The belt is marked size 14 on the back. The belt has wear and creases as well as a missing hook for the eye. 

    The main dress is a purple/gray, like a dusty plum color and the lace is a bit more of a gray.
