Description
Lot of 4 German Wehrmacht soldiers photo album pages with 47 pictures. Most are of Wehrmacht soldiers and it seems to focus on the cooks. Everyone looks fairly old in this unit, but I have to say it looks like a fairly jolly group which is not always a given. There are a number of good shots of them wearing the early pattern sweater. There are some boring landscape photos, luckily only a few. They were also issued captured rifles, Polish Mausers and perhaps also Czech ones.
There isn't anything earthshattering in these pictures, but I have found them very interesting all the same. There is something very familiar about the faces. It sort of looks like the cast of Dad's Army if that were a story about the Volkssturm.
