Description
Vintage black gloves. Size 7 1/2. Marked "Women's Service" Good for use with WAVES or NNC (Navy Nurse) impressions. One glove is marked with the size and women's service contract number. I tried to research the Navy contract number and found conflicting information as to whether it is wartime or postwar. It seems to have been used both during and after the war. There are other numbers covered up and the initials F. P. in white on the inside. The gloves show some storage wear and there are light fade lines on the sides and back on the hand.
