Description
Original German leather communications pouch. These are typically seen used with field phone crews and generally contained some basic wire working tools as well and message booklets and writing implements. It is in good condition with a few rough seams. While there are no completely blown out seams, some are starting to split. It is nicely marked with a waffen amt and a maker code with 42. The leather is quite flexible and I was not at all afraid to use the buckle closure repeatedly. The stitching is a little dry so a little leather preservative might be helpful.
