Description
This is a German, civilian or private purchase, sleeping bag in faded but good condition. Both zippers do work. They are both "Zipp" zippers and one has the D.R.P. Nürnberg pull tab. I am 5'11" and I was fairly comfortable in this, even with the hood up. If you were any taller or fatter (recommend no larger than about a 44" chest) it probably would not work. The strings on the bottom used to tie it up are knotted and damaged but you can still keep it rolled up with whats there. This is a pretty typical design of sleeping bag for the era. It is similar in pattern to the Luftwaffe sleeping bag. If you ever wondered why the Germans didn't have sleeping bags, well, they did and here is an example. Has a bit of a wood fire smell.
