Description
Original German leather roll up briefcase with key. This is a very neat style case, as it is made to roll up and is even fitted with a second set of snaps and a second latch for this purpose. I could imagine this being handy for traveling or stuffing inside the radio truck somewhere. This is just my supposition but due to a variety of material choice and elements, I feel like this this might have been made this way so you could lock it to a bicycle cross bar. It has a lot in common with bicycle accessories from the same period. It closes with a central lockable catch and two outer snaps.
It shows its age. The leather could use some loving, but its ok as is. Two of the rivets holding the metal support across the top flap has pulled through, see photos. It doesn't roll up as easily as it used to.
