Original WWII American Red Cross women's uniform: dress (with belt), jacket, and garrison cap hat.

This great late war ARC Home Service (purple epaulets) dress and jacket was worn by a lady that did her part in playing a crucial role for public health services and as you can see by the national blood tab must have been very busy assisting in blood drives to fill critical shortages for speeding along victory.

This is a hard to find set, especially this complete. The garrison cap has no size tag, but it appears to be a size 22. American Red Cross Service patch on the shoulder of the jacket. The tag has been cut out of the dress, by the jacket has a label for "Rockinchair" The dress has one side pocket. The buttons are held in with cotter pins and are easily removable for washing.

CONDITION: The dress is in fairly good condition, but the jacket and hat have some wear. All pieces have some staining. Nothing has been laundered, so the stains may come out. On the dress, the epaulets are dirty (probably did not get cleaned for fear of fabric dye bleed). There is some light staining under the arms and some spots near the metal side zipper, on the sleeves, by a belt loop and along the collar.

The jacket is missing epaulets. The jacket has staining throughout (most looks like it would probably clean out). There is a hole on the back of the jacket near the waist.
