Description
This is a very early handmade reproduction of the 8cm Gr.W.34 mortar carrying pad. I made this many years ago when you couldn't even get decent photos of the pad. It works well and looks ok. It is mostly based on the early manual photo which I believe was actually a picture of an early prototype before they started producing special webbing just for these rigs. This is why the straps differ from the original pads that have recently come up for sale. I would like to revisit the project in the future and improve it but that may never happen. I have a lot more time in it than the price I put on it. It is a little more rough than my normal standards.
