Vintage German desk blotter with a deeply embossed ship motif. It appears to be made from some form of early vinyl or similar material, but it is much higher quality than you will be thinking when you read that. It is basically unused with only some minor storage wear on the high points of the the embossing. It has a number of green folder sections along with some pockets upfront, usually used for stationary or envelopes. The only thing which this appears to have ever been used for is storing one unfinished sketch of some trees, with a building and a Teepee in the the background. Yes, the sketch is included, I could not rob this beautiful blotter of its only purpose in life so far.
A very elegant and classy looking piece if you are putting together an elegant desk set-up, this would help make it pop.
