Very nice vet bring back example of an early (approx. 1936) Auer Luftschutz gas mask can. The filter is still seal and unused, The gas mask is still very soft and supple. The mask is very clean. There is a nice early waffen amt stamp inside the mask. The can is dented on one side and has some light rust spots and general dust and age from storage. There is a name written in Sutterlin on the bottom of the can, It appears to be written in pencil.
A great example that displays well and anyone would be happy to have in their collection. I don't generally look for many civilian or civil defense type masks but this one was way too nice to pass up.
