Description
German aluminum bread/sandwich tin. A good bread bag stuffer to keep your sandwich safe. These were an important part of everyday life for Germans, so it is no wonder they found their way to the front lines as well. They were even being produced as early as WWI. They are pictured on the cover of the 1939 Der Sportler catalog.
The tin has an older, possibly pre-WWII, look. It is in OK condition and shows wear. There are small dents and it is slightly bent (it bends back fairly easily). There are some small dents and other wear.
