Original orange Bakelite butter dish. 1/4 turn opening. Fairly good condition. No chips or cracks. Just light wear, little dirt inside and a little bit of discoloration on the edge of the lid.
Great for reenacting and safer to use than some of the modern repros, many of which are not made from food safe resin. The material used for the originals is actually more stable. These are actually made of a material called pollopas, a more stable, food safe form of Bakelite.
