Vintage British India coin bracelet. The coins date from 1912 to 1938 (1912, 1914, 1916, 1918, 1931,1932, 1934, 1938). 7 out of the 8 coins have "IND IMP" on them, the rest of the writing is obscured by the holes. It appears that FID DEF IND IMP is abbreviated Latin for "FIDEI DEFENSOR INDIAE IMPERATOR" meaning, "Defender of the Faith, Emperor/Empress of India. The IND IMP part was dropped in 1949 when India gained Independence. The bracelet is in overall good condition with some wear. The coins have all been circulated and have some discoloration.
