Description
Vintage US eagle pin with blue star "in service" charm. Commonly referred to as "son in service" but was used to refer to any loved one or sweetheart in the service. Due to rationing, the eagle is made of a cheaper pot metal and the charm has celluloid in the center. The celluloid piece is glued on and is starting to curl. Some overall discoloration and wear.
