Very nice example of the WWII first pattern U.S. tanker bibs. These were issued and the soldiers number is stamped inside in two places but they appear to be practically unused. Aside from a few small rust stains just below the crotch and a small grayish stain on the back of one leg, they look damn near unissued. The stain almost looks like maybe some of the ink from the property stamp transferred over to the leg when it was folded. It retains the oilcloth size tag which is stapled on.
