Original WWI Iron Cross pin that has been modified into a buttonhole device. It has 1914 Iron Cross hanging from an Imperial flag colored ribbon with the Austrian flag colors in the corner. It was originally a pin but it must have broken and someone's idea of repair was to turn it into a buttonhole device to stick through your lapel collar button. Some wear on the enamel.
