Description
This is an interesting piece, but in the nearly 20 years I have owned it, I have been unable to really find out anything about it. It is supposedly a stretcher cover. It does have pockets on it for pillows. It is made almost like a zelt. It is dated 1942 and marked to feldlazarett 200. I am guessing this was meant to cover the stretcher and keep it clean. It is in unissued condition with some stains. Some of the materials ,like the white strap material, are very synthetic feeling, a lot like the webbing on some A-frame bags and bread bags.
