Original unused VM40 Volksgasmaske 40 civilian Luftschutz gas mask. It is still on the original cardboard, but the box is missing. It even still has the little paper protector over the nose vent. The mask is new old stock in fairly good condition, except for some degradation and darkening to the lenses. The filter is a little dented. Every German citizen was required by law to own a gas mask and emergency medical supplies in case of air raids and this is one of them.
