Reproduction, more like still in production, DUX red pencil sharpener. The company had been producing these, unchanged since the 1920's. The material is still Bakelite, but it is higher quality than most period items. The red is a bit of a marbled look with dark specks throughout. Some variation on the markings on the sharpener inside.
